Robert L. Wakefield
Robert Wakefield is an associate attorney for Jones & Mayer who also serves as an assistant receiver in our Receivership Division. On top of his duties as an assistant receiver, Mr. Wakefield represents various municipalities throughout California and their respective Code Enforcement, fire and police departments. Mr. Wakefield also works on Pitchess Motions.
Prior to joining Jones & Mayer, Mr. Wakefield work as an Associate Attorney for a private firm that specialized in medical malpractice and insurance defense.
Mr. Wakefield began his legal career in 2006 as a legal assistant, before earning his paralegal certificate in 2007. He went on to work at multiple law firms in that capacity, focusing primarily on medical malpractice and insurance defense. While working full time as a paralegal for Porter Scott, Mr. Wakefield attended law school during the evenings at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. He earned his law degree in 2013.
He joined Jones & Mayer in March of 2016.
