On May 19th, Jim Touchstone attended the graduation of California Peace Officers’ Association Leadership Development Course in Sacramento. At the graduation ceremony, Mr. Touchstone presented the Martin J. Mayer Memorial Award to an outstanding graduate of the class who was selected to receive the Award by his peers. This year’s Award was presented to Corporal Sergio Cruz from Benicia Police Department. The Award was established to honor law enforcement officers who are well-trained, educated, and thoughtful leaders in the performance of their duties.
