Bruce Lindsay is an Associate in the litigation department of Jones Mayer, having joined the Firm in June 2016.
Prior to moving over to Jones Mayer, Mr. Lindsay was associated with the firm of Countryman & McDaniel as the Senior Litigator for Outside Counsel for United Parcel Service, specializing in commercial litigation involving seven-figure lawsuits for the Fortune 50 company, as well as representation of multiple insurance companies and businesses.
His litigation practice while with Countryman & McDaniel focused on handling, litigating, and resolving contractual and international business and insurance disputes throughout the United States and included overseeing local counsel in the United States and Central and South America in conducting litigation.
He preceded his work at Countryman & McDaniel as a Partner in the firm of Moss, Hovden & Lindsay, a boutique law firm specializing in complex civil litigation, particularly emphasizing medical malpractice, products liability, and related civil practice areas.
While at Moss, Hovden & Lindsay, he authored various contributions to legal journals and was a participant in seminars on evidence, litigation technique, and other facets of litigation and trial practice. He was honored as Attorney of the Year by the Southeast Legal Assistants Association for his contributions to that organization.
Mr. Lindsay received his juris doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in 1981, having received the American Jurisprudence Award for his studies in property and wills and trusts.
He has been admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California and in the federal Second and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal.
