Lisa Kranitz joined Jones Mayer in January 2020. Ms. Kranitz is engaged in the practice of general municipal law, with an emphasis on land use, housing, and CEQA. Ms. Kranitz served as the city attorney for the City of Gardena from January 1995 to November 2001. She has also served as the assistant city attorney for the cities of Gardena, La Verne, Bradbury, San Gabriel, Rosemead, and Camarillo and as general counsel for The Center for Water Education. Additionally, Ms. Kranitz has represented many private clients in various land use, zoning, and CEQA matters.

Ms. Kranitz obtained her juris doctor from the University of Southern California in 1985. Prior to pursuing her legal education, Ms. Kranitz obtained her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in communication studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1982.
