Mr. Do is a Deputy City Prosecutor in the Firm’s prosecutor office. His current responsibilities include code enforcement, prosecution of municipal code violations, and prosecution of massage and chiropractic parlor license violations.

Prior to joining Jones Mayer, Mr. Do was an Attorney and Managing Partner at a law firm that specialized in business litigation and family law. Mr. Do was involved in managing all aspects of the law firm from its inception in 1997. Since he joined Jones Mayer in 2005, his duties have included advising our clients on all aspects of municipal law, including transactional, contractual, and land-use issues.

Mr. Do received his B.A. in economics at UCLA and his J.D. at Western State University. Upon graduation he worked at CBS Entertainment as a Business Affairs Negotiator responsible for negotiating with talent, including producers, directors, and actors. He is the founder of MiniVan Production with Executive Producer credit for reality-based television productions about professional athletes.

During law school, Mr. Do also served as a Law Clerk at the Law Office of Yolita Nowalk. His responsibilities included negotiating with state regulators and the Securities and Exchange Commission office on behalf of clients offering securities under Regulation D and Regulation A offerings. He also conducted due diligence interviews and drafted private placement memorandums.
