Ryan M. Allein joined Jones Mayer in October 2025 and practices in multiple areas, including civil litigation, civil rights, municipal law, and writs and appeals.
Mr. Allein began his career at the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted a wide range of crimes, including violent felonies. During this time, he regularly appeared in court and tried 15 cases to verdict.
Prior to joining Jones Mayer, Mr. Allein worked as an appellate attorney for the California Court of Appeal, 5th District. As an appellate attorney, Mr. Allein prepared and drafted over 50 opinions for the ten justices on the court. Further, he is an instructor at the University of California, Riverside, where he teaches both criminal law and tort law.
