Veronica Donovan is a deputy city prosecutor in the prosecutor’s office and an attorney in the city receivership program at Jones Mayer. Ms. Donovan represents several California municipalities and their respective community development, fire, and police departments in criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings to enforce municipal codes and other state law. Ms. Donovan also handles Pitchess motions.

Prior to joining Jones Mayer, Ms. Donovan worked as an associate attorney for a private firm that specialized in trust and probate litigation.

Ms. Donovan graduated from Loyola Law School in 2014 and was admitted to the California Bar that same year. During law school, Ms. Donovan was an extern in the Major Crimes Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. In 2010, Ms. Donovan graduated with departmental honors from the University of Southern California with a bachelor of science degree in public policy, management, and planning with a concentration in real estate development. While at the University of Southern California, Ms. Donovan interned for the City of Anaheim’s Planning Department and was a member of USC’s coed prelaw fraternity Phi Alpha Delta.
